Alice Springs is a strange place. On the one hand it's full of tourists using the town as a base for their outback tours. But on the other hand, there are lots of indigenous people living on the streets and trying to sell stuff. It's their land, after all, but one has to stress that those people are in no way representing the real indigenous people living in their communities, away from western influence.
