If you've ever asked yourself where all those hippie folks went that you've been seeing in the History Channel docus about the 1960s look no further! They're right here in Byron Bay, and they brought their sea-shell-clad Volkswagens. No kidding, Byron Bay is a pot-smoking party town but it's also the most easterly point of Australia, marked by this lighthouse.
