Sydney just looks phantastic at night. If you ever go there you should take a flight that arrives after dark. The metropolitan area covers more than 1100 square kilometres - an incredibly huge sea of light.
You can easily make out the harbour from the air, as well as the opera house. This photo has been taken from the Harbour Bridge.
