Lamington National Park is just two hours south of Brisbane (close to the border to New South Wales). Unfortunately the weather wasn't as nice as it could have been, but hey, that's why it's called rainforest (pun intended).
Apart from miles of bushwalking tracks, there's also a "tree top walk", consisting of platforms connected by plank bridges.
