The coastal road from Melbourne towards South Australia is known as the "Great Ocean Road". It's supposed to be the world's most beautiful coastal road but that's a matter of taste. It's a pretty cool drive nevertheless. Be sure to stop every now and then to feel the breeze and to discover tombstones or plaques telling stories of settlers, hope and desaster: the area is also known as the "Shipwreck Coast".
